Keheley Comet Run

Training, Teachers and Outdoor Improvements.

The Comet Run is our annual fun run and biggest fundraiser of the year! It brings our entire school community together for a fun, high-energy day focused on fitness, school spirit, and supporting our kids.

It all starts on Thursday, October 15 with our official Kickoff! From that day on, students can set up their personal fundraising pages and gather pledges from family, friends, and neighbors. Then, after a few weeks of tracking our progress and hitting milestones, we'll celebrate on Thursday, November 5 when every student in every grade heads to the track to run, walk, dance, and cross the finish line together!

Why We Need Your Support

The Comet Run is Keheley’s main fundraiser, and every single dollar raised goes directly back to our school. This year, our goal is to raise $25,000 to fund the essential resources and campus upgrades that make our school day special, including:

  • STEM & Technology: Providing teachers and students with hands-on STEM tools, digital resources, and updated classroom technology.

  • Playground & Campus Upgrades: Enhancing outdoor spaces, play structures, and school grounds for every grade.

  • Teacher Grants & Classroom Supplies: Giving our educators the direct backing and tools they need to build dynamic learning environments.

  • School Enrichment: Funding special assemblies, student programs, and school-wide events that benefit all Keheley families.

Prizes & Schoolwide Goals

To keep the momentum going from Kickoff to Run Day, students earn fun rewards as their class hits new fundraising milestones. Classes can unlock everything from Hat Days and Fort Days to classroom Pizza Parties!

Plus, we have huge school-wide challenges lined up when we hit our overall targets:

  • 👔 Dress the Teacher Day & Teacher Lip Sync Battle

  • 🦖 Inflatable Mascot Race featuring our administrative team and top teachers

  • 🌈 THE BIG GOAL: If we hit our $25,000 target, the entire Comet Run transforms into a COLOR RUN on November 5th!

How to Get Involved

  1. Register & Donate on GoFundSchools: Starting October 15, head over to www.gofundschools.com to activate your student's profile and make a secure online pledge.

  2. Spread the Word: Easily share your student’s fundraising link with family, neighbors, and friends via text, email, or social media.

  3. Mark Your Calendar & Come Cheer: Join us on Thursday, November 5 on the school field to root on our runners! (Specific grade-level run times will be published closer to the event.)
